Concert Attire Requirements

Jazz Ensemble
Option 1:
- Black suit
- Solid colored BLUE dress shirt
- Long tie
- Black socks
- Black shoes
Option 2:
- Black or solid colored blouse
- Black pants/skirt (below knee)
- Black shoes
Orchestra & Wind Ensemble
Option 1:
- Tuxedo (preferred) or black suit
- White dress shirt that buttons at the neck
- Black bowtie & black cummerbund ($7 option)
- Black dress shoes & black socks
Option 2:
- Recommended: Purchase concert dress from the Instrumental Music Boosters
OR
- Floor-length black dress
- Black dress shoes
- Pearl necklaces, purchased from Instrumental Music Boosters (Wind / Percussion)
Symphonic / Concert Band
Option 1:

Option 3 (All Black):

- Sleeved black shirt / blouse
- Black long tie (optional)

Second Movement Thrift Stop
Some concert attire has been donated by former students and community members and is stored in a closet in the school's music room, the Second Movement Thrift Stop. Currently, the selection is very limited.
If your student has gently used concert attire they no longer need, please consider donating it to the Second Movement Thrift Stop. Donations can be dropped off in the Music Room at Acalanes High School, or you can contact us at info@ahsperformingarts.org for more information.
